LinkMan QUICK START GUIDE
» Install LinkMan
Upload LinkMan files to your server (http://example.com/links).
Open install directory in your browser (http://example.com/links/install).
Follow the installation script steps.
Delete the install directory.
Open admin directory (http://example.com/links/admin) to add links, manage settings etc.
Test the public links page (http://example.com/links).
Support LinkMan development by purchasing a license.

» Upgrading from versions 1.x
Known upgrade issues:
- A lot has changed. It is recommended to install the new version of Linkman in an empty folder.
- Old settings will be overwritten.
- Existing links can be imported but may need to be converted to UTF-8 (see below).
Upgrade steps:
BACKUP YOUR EXISTING LINKMAN FILES
... or don't blame me if something goes wrong.Upload all LinkMan files to your server.
Open links/install in your browser (http://example.com/links/install).
Follow the installation script steps.
Delete the "install" directory from your server.
Login to the admin panel (http://example.com/links/admin).
Go to "Backups" page.
Use the "Import legacy backup" form to upload your old linkinfo.txt file.
If your existing links use any non-English characters (like ä, é, š, č, й, 戰 etc...) you will need to convert the old linkinfo.txt file to UTF-8 before importing it: Convert file to UTF-8.
