 This ge means pattern square frame style standard and thus also character.Though I am unsure if it can also mean character as in Chinese character, which are square.Or if instead if means moral character. Nevertheless in English we could say“A well traveled character” for we can call a person a “character” in English to imply he is “off the beaten track” which is another possible English translation for 她是格路的 or simply “offbeat”.
