沆 ferry boat. River on the left, strong soldier on the right.
瀣 mist. water on the left, scapula on top left hand on top right, split wings below, these are all basically importune signs, bones, broken wings, by water. Broken wings as “not” + water = mist is not (exactly) water. 韰 means a type of scallion (meat on top, leeks on the bottom). Note however that onions are prohibited to Buddhist vegetarians, again: importune.
