In this order:
Bonham’s Case
City of London
Van Horne’s Lessee
These are all very brief cases. When you finish them the next cases are:
Marbury v. Madison
Van Gend & Loos
McCulloch v. Maryland
Please try to read them then if we finish those first three cases, which we certainly will, we will have other things to talk about. When briefing cases: I will ask you to summarize the facts, what the legal issue is, what the rule of law is, what the arguments of the parties are.<
IRAC issue rule application conclusion
Try to figure out the legal issue in the case.
Try to see if you understand the arguments of plaintff and defendant.
Try to figure out what the rule of law in the case is.

Also there is the World Debating Championships being hosted in Berlin at HU.
I went to that back in the day.
Does anyone want to debate in English? The world’s are if nothing else a great party, and a fantastic chance to meet some amazing people. I like it even more than Jessup. If interested, talk to me.
