Although I do not in fact believe that the Russian Federation desires peace, and based on the past actions of the Russian federation expect that the Russian Federation will continue to pursue its foolish and self destructive policies of dismemberment of Ukraine, if Russia were in fact interested in peace, as opposed to dismembering Ukraine, then Russia could simply ask the U.N. to introduce U.N. peace keepers into Eastern Ukraine.
Obivously further illegal dismemberment of Ukraine by Russia would have severest negative consequences for Russia’s foreign relations.
